This is the largest city in southern France and the second or third city of France depending the criteria.

MK: Good Marseille pics again-I looked at these last and I would like to mention these: #4,5,6,18,19-Marseille Metro? #s 7+21-I like those block Metro location marker signs! #37-Graffiti reminds me of NYC...
#75-This narrow street is neat... #90-good pic with arch in background-is that the same arch as in pic #109-that last one above? What does that arch represent? Is it like that famous one in Paris? It reminds me of the Washington Arch in Washington Square Park in Manhattan,NYC!

Marseille metro is small, it is the 5th largest metro system in France after Paris, Lille, Lyon and Toulouse.
It only has two line and only serve the center.
It is not enouth big for Marseille.
There is security men with big dogs in every station where in most metro system of France (exept Paris) staff is almost inexistant.
Marseille metro is a mix between Paris and Lyon metro.

The lack of information, the dirtyness and the manual doors of Paris metro.

There is many narrow street in Marseille and I don't know what it exaclty the Arch.
I only know the name : Porte d'Aix.
