oof. It's at the point where Facebook had the emergency check-ins to let people know you're ok, which is what I woke up to this morning.

It's unreal. Somewhere between 60,000 - 80,000 people evacuated. Some neighbourhoods are virtually gone, others decimated. I think our provincial opposition leader Brian Jean lost his home. So sad.

So far no reports of fatalities or serious injuries despite how quickly it all happened. Lots of people stepping up to help out those running out of fuel on the highways, offering food and lodging, etc. Always amazing how people will step up in times of need.
