This would be interesting but the scale of this MSF is much smaller than the Crosstown MSF. Finch West is still a huge mess around the MSF area making this not a friendly site to access at the moment. Maybe things will change in a few months.
In 2019, we had Open Doors for the Eglinton Maintenance & Storage Facility...

Why not for the Finch West facility for 2022? Especially since Line 6 is to open by 2023.

It’s not the site itself but the sidewalks and intersections aren’t rebuilt yet. It’ll be a hazard of tons of people were to use it at the same time. This wasn’t the case for the Crosstown MSF

Today is February. Open Doors is in May. March, April, and then May, that's three months in the spring when they can clean it up a little. Takes about a week to pour a sidewalk.

It's Metrolinx though, I'm sure they can find a way to make pouring a sidewalk take months to happen :p

Regardless of what they can open on Finch, I do think Metrolinx will have at least one Crosstown station open for that weekend. When I toured the MSF at Doors Open 2019, I'm pretty sure I remember a Metrolinx person saying the plan was to have Mt Dennis Station open for Doors Open 2020 (which unfortuinately didn't happen), but it would be nice if we had a Doors Open venue on each LRT.

Enjoy with 59 shoots up on my site.

Lost as to why they brough the trench up in the middle section between Finch and Humber College only to have to go back down to the station.

Does anyone know if they are going to change the grey on the the trains for both this line and the Eglinton ones? I haven't seen any and would have thought they would have been red for TTC or the colour of each line.

Probably not, they will probably stay grey. Metrolinx is heading up this build, and they try their utmost to be as bland as possible! 🤣🤣

At the moment I believe Metrolinx has no plans of changing the colours of either EC or FW vehicles from there current grey colour scheme.
