Some of know that I was in California from Feb 17th - Feb 24th. I don't really feel like doing a review other than saying this city is World Class! Its population is only 800,000 (3 x less than Toronto) nonetheless it surpasses Toronto in so many ways: architecture, urban planning, looks, weather, streetlife, etc. Nonetheless I have to say that Toronto does have an edge when it comes to clubbing even though I've seen the better clubs @ SFO ie. Paul Van Dyk live @ Club 1015, Ruby Skye etc.

Anyways here's some pics:

Oh and I went to see Paul Van Dyk Live @ Club 1015. Paul's set was amazing and the club was good but it was overcrowded, most of the pictures turned out a lot worse than I thought. In addition to that there was a shooting about 20 minutes after we left. Anyways here's proof:

More pics should follow (ie. Fisherman's Wharf etc).

I don't think its a fair representation to say SF's population is 800,000, when a much larger urban population supports its core.

Regardless about the details, everything I've digitially seen shows me SF is a city I have to personally see someday.
Thanks for this initial tour, I look forward to everything else you have in store.

I was actually talking about the city proper. The Bay Area, if you include Oakland, San Jose and their surburbs, has a population of around 7 million.

Indeed, which is why I prefer to compare apples to apples, so to speak.

Cool pics. No question, San Francisco is one of NA's great cities.

San Francisco is the only city I have been to in the US that I could actually see myself living in.

Who is the guy in many of those pictures that needs to learn to smile? :)

San Fran definately is a gem, nice pics, were you blocking the traffic on Lombard to get that pic? lol.
