It seems that whenever someone moves a thread, the original stays in place. I've noticed this a few times... most recently with the thread on Condo Forum registration. Perhaps someone should look into this.
When moving threads, there's an option that says 'Leave Shadow in Current Forum.' I think someone must have selected that option when moving the thread you're talking about.
