Got a shock yesterday when I got on MT 653 at the back of the bus.

The first double seat on the driver side in the step-up area had red fabric seat material in place of the brown stuff.

Must be testing the seats out as I have never seen them on any other bus's that arrived this year.

Long over due and some thing I have requested as far back as 2002.

The red is lighter than TTC colour and not sure it is the right colour. Need to see more seats in one area.

Need to put MT or Mississauga logo on the fabric.

I still like the material found on BT, YRT and Burlington.

Needs more padding.

I noticed a red seat on one of the new buses as well. I found it odd, because I think I've seen random colors on older buses (I figured as replacements for damaged seats) but a new bus wouldn't have any seats that need that. If MT is getting red seats, that'd be awesome.

I was hoping you meant the MT logo is changing to red from orange. I hate the orange. Orange for Mississauga Transit and orange for the GO Milton line. Probably not a coincidence.

Meanwhile, TTC was stupid enough to suggest orange and white interiors for their new generation of subway trains. (remember the mock up survey that has a photo of the interior of a Montreal Metro train?)
