I'll try to keep this to all the relatively new buildings I saw in NYC.
This one stood out. In terms of sizing, this is about what I expect Theatre Park will look or feel like (located near the Flatiron):
A new townhouse among giants (in Chelsea/Gramercy area):
Museum of Art & Design:
This looked like a taller and much better version of the Glasshouse:
Staying on the theme, here are two more concrete and glass buildings (on 1st ave, north of Stuyvesant Town):
One Jackson Square, a real looker in person too:
I encountered two really odd recladdings. These are old brick buildings in the style New York is known for, but they've been covered in glass! Perhaps I should add these to the City Hall re-clad thread:
Along Columbus Circle:
and near Union Square:
We can kind of see what One Bloor would look like if it weren't clad in glass:
We complain about the dull colours of Toronto buildings, but we're not the only ones with this issue. That yellow there adds a bit of spice. In the end, I think our CBD is much more distinct and interesting than this one:
