There seems to be a lot of environmental-related threads all over the place, not to mention a couple that are ballooning in all different directions... perhaps it is time for the environment to have its own forum?

My inkling is no. I'm not sure there's enough continual new threads to warrant a full sub-forum. Moreover, most enviro-related threads can be found quite easily in politics, general issues and/or in respective project discussion in P&C.
