Finally, at long last!!

An old ugly ancient dinosaur going bye-bye!!

Note at the top of 1 WTC's base, that the scafolding has begun being removed. A sure sign that the tower is yet another step toward approaching completion!! ;)

Here's a pic (rendering) of how the 64th floor skywalk will look in One WTC when completed.

Looks so real, as if it is already done!!

In 2nd pic, the PATH Station Kiosk is moving right along - the ribs are about 1/3 of the way to being built! ;)

Here's a clear shot of the tower on a sunny day. Look at all those water tanks on top of the buildings in the foreground! ;)

Here's a pic of the spire lit up near sundown!

The exterior elevator shaft is being dismantled now, and the rest of the façade in that corner is being installed. Pretty soon, the whole building will be completely glass enclosed and protected from the weather, allowing the HVAC to be activated to keep the workers warm inside! ;)

Just in case the folks at the southeast corner of Bay and Adelaide were wondering how long it takes to get a spire lit.....

It's been lit up in multiple colors.

Like the Empire State Building before it, it can get into the holiday spirit with each and every holiday that comes along!

Everyone: I really like this Freedom Tower section...

There have been problems in that area this week and at other times this winter:

The street area including the entrance to the PATH WTC Station has had to be closed due to falling ice...

I wonder if this can be a design problem or just ice buildup on the window areas...
