2015 from the end of Polson Street. The ship in the foreground was the last full-size seaway max size built at Collingwood Shipyards in 1985 and was soon scrapped after this photo.

The former Buttonville Airport, now deactivated and all structure demolished leaving only the out of service runways and taxiways. The runway markings have been milled off and the various "x" marking indicated out of service.

Former site of Union Carbide in Welland was purchased by a developer who is focusing on undercovering an estimated 7 billion dollars of stockpiled graphite for batteries in electric vehicles. There was no use for that graphite when the plant was functional. Taken 25/04/12

HCEA Canada Wheels and Tracks in Motion show, hosted by the Simcoe County Museum in Midhurst. The only place around here where you can see this a 1922 Erie B Steam Shovel operating.
