Based on the renderings, it should end up looking like a downtown from street level. Looking forward to seeing this come to fruition. This process has been going on for 15 years though, with little to show for it, so not holding g my breath.

I do find it very strange that the Brooke Claxton Building has been identified as surplus that could go up for sale soon. Why have one building in the middle of Tunney's, the most iconic building at that, go on the market when this whole plan is going on?

2 Lots they want to speed up for affordable housing.

Yup, a bit worried they build housing for the sake of housing and forget about good urbanism and design.

I'll say it again - I'd rather much more density (and height) in that top corner of Tunney's than on the existing plan.

A while ago the city and Feds reached a deal

2000 housing units on Federal land

1100 units Heron Road
900 units on these 2 lots

Would be my guess
