Another thread that I figured, couldn’t hurt. This is a takeoff on a thread they have at Urban Toronto called out and about, random chitchat and random observations.

I will kick it off with some photos from Comic Expo I took when I was passing through the Stampede grounds.
I don’t know what kind of crowds I usually get, but it seemed very busy.

17th Ave the other night. The strategy of taking away parking spaces to accommodate patios and pedestrians is one of the best moves made by a city that shoots itself in the foot again and again.
Also Tompkins Park seems always busy with people hanging out while a band jams away.

17th Ave has always been busy, but this summer it’s been literally buzzing every night of the week. It’s twice as busy as what it was before Covid.

Went to Cirque on Thursday, had supper on Stephen Ave before and it was buzzing. Looked to be a show at the Palace Theatre. Made for a fun experience and felt like a proper city.
