That is an awesome photo of the city... I think a lot of people forget that we are on a lake and don't take advantage of it.

I completely agree with you guys, the Scotia Tower really stands out , especially with the greyness of this shot .... we need more colour in our skyline , there are way too many blue/ green/gray buildings in the DT Core

Can someone tell me what that is sticking out of the water ?

It is an alignment bollard for the docking ferry, to keep her square to the ramp in windy conditions.
