I never realized that the light shines through from inside the train boarding area at Union Station. I like it so much that I wished that they could incorporate a design element that mimics this for the new shed.

I remember in the late 80's Toronto had a G-20 type summit. The block between King & Front to John & Simcoe was nothing but a flat parking lot save for Roy Thompson Hall. It was used by the summit for the media centre and became a tent city. skyscrapercity.com has older versions of the above photo in their CN Tower Appreciation Thread.
