Crazy to see Toronto like this. What I don't understand is how did they close enough to actually burn police cars? Or did the police allow a couple of cars to be torched to allow the protesters to think they had inflicted some damage?

hope the police arrests these protesters, and not any innocent bystanders.

ya, I dont get how they managed to reach this intersection either. As the march began it was clear that there was a huge police presence at Queen/University, not allowing the crowd to go south or east of there. As the vandals doubled back they seemingly got past that intersection rather easily and quickly...

You are thinking, many are not, the reason the police car is burning is because the police are using an old tactic that is used around the world, the group being held responsible is the black bloc, a so called anarchist group, this group has been infiltrated by the police, some of the people inciting the destruction of property are undercover police, the police dont want peaceful protest, they harassed the peaceful people, get images of "those protesters being destructive," feeding that image into the public mind, it destracts you from the real issues at hand,

A journalist from the guardian came from the states, he was punched in the gut from a police officer who told him to leave, a journalist from tvo was threatend , and many more journalist where intimidated,
we will see over the next few weeks if this will all come out in plain view,

the official story is that no rubber bullets where fired, but people have video of the police firing in innocent people

the list of stories goes on......

this is true, lets keep an open mind, it happend in quebec, they eventually admited to it

i seen a video of a plain clothed guy suppose to be a protestor go in the cop car and mess with controls, the sirens...
people reported seeing plain clothed men with the same boots that the officers had on, but yeah im all for evidence, im just bringing up a valid concern that the police are using this tactic that they use all around the world

i cant stand the people who are yelling and screaming at the police, saying things like " F the police " all that does is create a further polarization. this guy at around 7:35 in the video link has a confrontation with the police and handles it beautifully , in a calm and rational manner, we can think things threw with our minds rather then just emotion. Note how the police are female, the only police ive seen on video so far who are willing to listen to reason rather then testostrone.

I watched as this cruiser was torched and it was absolutely not 'undercover' police - it was an angry mob consisting of both Black Bloc and others that got caught up in the violence. They police lost control of the situation for at least an hour or so and it got pretty ugly.
