I donno why their is need for such security. I really dont think new members should have no be approved before they are allowed to view/post on the forum.

Its a big enough hassle to sign up but waiting for approval is a pain.

I thought visitors could view. I was on a buddies computer and hadn't logged into ezboard but was still able to view the posts.

However, if you open up posting to guests, we might get a bit more posting, but we'd also get the losers that come up and just stirr up shit.

If I remember correctly, I couldn't view the forum until I was approved. I think "membership by posting, when you are a registered EZBoard user is good--it's what I use on my own boards. However, each admin has their own idea of how best to handle things. This board is a lot busier than my own boards combined, so what I get in traffic is nothing in comparison.
