What are the steps involved in developing a piece of real estate property from start to finish?
Let's use a residential condominium development as an example:
1) investigate into potential properties (e.g., zoning, height restriction, etc.)
2) bidding/purchasing a piece of property
3) plan and design
4) approval from neighbours, city councilors and OMB(?)
5) pre-construction sales
6) construction begins
7) occupancy/interim closing
8) final closing/building registration
(These are just from my guess, i'm sure there is a lot of details missing.)
Please feel free to add to/revise the list (more detail the better).
