For those of you familiar with Pyongyang's "Hotel of Doom", aka the Ryugyong Hotel, started in the late 80s and abandoned as an enormous (105 story) unfinished shell in the early 90s, it has apparently now been finished enough to partially open later this spring.

(The comments are amusing, especially the folks who think this thing is better than the condos being built in Toronto.)

If it actually opens as a hotel, I'll be stunned. I know there were real concerns about the integrity of the concrete.
