Just got updated tentative occupancy notice for May 2023 - 11 months later. What about others. They're at 21 floors, can they realistically complete 52 floors by May 2023?
It is TENTATIVE and can be further delayed with 90-day notice at no cost. lolJust got updated tentative occupancy notice for May 2023 - 11 months later. What about others. They're at 21 floors, can they realistically complete 52 floors by May 2023?
Hi Dan, I'm new here. Back in Feb 2022 I got the same date as May 2023 and in Middle of July 2022 they sent out a new tentative occupancy of July 2023. If we move in July 2023 when do you think the closing will be? =)Just got updated tentative occupancy notice for May 2023 - 11 months later. What about others. I'm not positive they can even be at stage of completion to move in @July 2023... they still haven't completed the roof which seems to be taking a lot longer.Hi Dan, I'm new here. I pay almost $4000 for under 650 sqft unit now... the exact closing date is not given... crazy crazyOut of curiosity: for those who have started their interim occupancy, how much are you guys paying every month currently? Were you given a closing date?
Mine is coming up in March and just looking around at the BOC interest rate it is kind of crazy to say the least...
Thanks - I'm going to be paying 5k ish once the occupancy starts (2 bed), and of course everyone I spoke with had no idea when closing will be, fun times ahead lol.I pay almost $4000 for under 650 sqft unit now... the exact closing date is not given... crazy crazy
I agree, we also bought 2 bedroom and when we moved in, the shower had no glass or door, no toilet paper dispenser or towel racks, noticed design defects where kitchen cabinet top door handle hits the wall, closet door handle next to refrigerator can hit refrigerator when door is opened all the way. They also made mistakes on baseboard upgrade and backsplash layout and they are sending endless tradespeople to fix all sorts of things. We just went through 3 days for the baseboard upgrade correction after taking occupancy and they are asking me to allow 3 days to replace the backsplash. Worksmahship is mediocre. I completely share with your disapointment. First bathroom shower has gap between shower and sink that is about 2-3 inches wide and difficult to access to clean it which makes absolutely no sense. Thanks - I'm going to be paying 5k ish once the occupancy starts (2 bed), and of course everyone I spoke with had no idea when closing will be, fun times ahead lol.
Just to vent a bit to everyone who's reading this - my PDI had lots of imperfections/chips/scratches throughout the unit and quite a few major items missing. At some point I pretty much gave up and just felt it was pointless to even ask the PDI specialist to flag them (we did get most of them in the end, definitely not all as there are just too damn many). I doubt they will be redoing everything that I'm not happy with, but hey, doesn't hurt to use all those tapes to flag them out at least.
And of course they are using provident energy in this building, so inflated hydro bill incoming.
Overall I'm not happy at all with Pemberton despite what they claim in their ads for 'Quality' and 'Trust'. Almost non-existent customer service right up until my PDI (and I mean it, no one picks up their phone and no one replies to your email lol) and they use Bratty LLP which is a TERRIBLE law firm (so bad that even my own lawyer is saying the same thing about them). At this point I'm just hoping they did not cut corners in the major stuff and pray nothing major goes wrong with this building.
