There's no english article right now, but the Quebec government and the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec are hoping that Trudeau's infrastructure plan will contribute to the new LRT/rapid transit line, planned to be at least 25km long. There were rumours about this project being linked with the West Island LRT destined for Montreal-Trudeau Airport, creating one big 50km rapid transit line, but nothing official as of now. I thought this was important because it's Montreal's biggest transit project since the Metro Blue line in the mid-eighties.
