The JUNOs are coming home after a ten year sojourn. 2011 will mark the 40th anniversary of the awards and the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences is promising a bigger event than ever.

Back when the Junos were held mostly in Toronto, with the occasional jaunt to Hamilton (and a couple of times to Vancouver, IIRC), the criticism was that it was getting stale and that Toronto wasn't embracing the event any more. It was the decision to move the Junos around the country and create an entire week of activities and shows to go with it that revitalized the event. They won't go back to a fixed location now.
