I say the five most creative neighbourhoods in this city are as follows,

1) Liberty Village
2) Distillery District
3) King St W at Bathurst
4) The Grange / John St north
5) Leslieville

as per Top Five Most Creative Neighbourhoods in Toronto on Fuel Ghoul.

What do you think? Did I leave out any area that should be on this list? Should King St W at Bathurst be here?

I'm just doing a check around to see if maybe I can make a top ten article for a newspaper.

The Annex must be up there with many writers and musicians calling it home. The Junction has a lot of creative people and businesses now as well.

How do you define "creative neighbourhood"?

Cabbagetown, with its high proportion of authors, TV personalities, and CBC types, must be on the list too.

I'm skeptical about the Distillery District - while there are many galleries there, I'm not sure it's where artists actually live.

Building 15 is home to several Artscape studios and the offices/studios of many organizations like Dancemakers and Nightwood Theatre. Check the site directory for names.
