Does anyone know where in Toronto I can buy topographic maps of various sections of the city? I know about 15 years ago, I bought some downtown somewhere - I just forget where. These maps didn't show streets, but rather waterways and contour lines showing elevation.

Thanks!

They have one posed on the wall in the Map Library in the Ryerson Library if you wish to have a gander sometime.

Where is the Ryerson Library. I'd like to buy that map but would like to see it in person first.

It's the windowless south tower of (*cough*) Jorgenson Hall. Enter through the doors on Victoria Street just north of Gould and take the stairs up two floors to the library entrance (it is signposted). The map library is on the bottom floor of the library to your right as you enter. The map posted also has smaller maps just for each time period, making it even easier to see the growth of the city over time.
