It's amazing to consider that 90% of what you see in Travis' pics was built in the last few years. About 5 years ago you had a clear view of Royal York from the lake shore from that angle.
 
It occupies the site of a future office tower. As that building will be constructed at a later date, the sales centre can remain open while the towers rise behind.
 
So true, you got 5 cranes in a pit that takes up almost an entire city block where 5 buildings with a combined height of over 2,400ft (1936ft of which in the ICE portion) will be built.
 
my goodness! didn't realize that things were really moving here! that's a great aerial pic to monitor the progress so far! such a huge piece of land that's being worked on.

some part of me is really opposing the new infinity towers. as i recall, the new ones will look identical to the old ones. i wish they did something different.
