Ouch. Back to Cobblestones, please! I always wondered why Yorkville didn't brick it's streets like they did on a stretch of nearby St. Nicholas (which always seems immaculate).

I love St. Nicholas Street! They even used flat cobbles that women in heels could walk on.

quick drive through Yorkville tonight, there appears to be some steel framing in front of the historic hospital facade....is it being enclosed? or the steel could have been simple bracing...no camera, sorry!
 
It looks like bracing to me.

In other news, the peach cladding on this building looks absolutely terrible. I find it very surprising, considering what the units in this building cost.
 
ooo no ... is it just my eyes?? or am I seeing ugly pale green spandrow panels being used on 100 Yorkville just like Monarch's Battery Park .... yuk~ :confused:
