A couple of notes here, before we get to the pics. I had a discussion w/some of the staff on site today.

1) Top tier Italianate Limestone at grade; due on site ~ August.

2) Faux Limestone cladding (above grade), with digitally printed photographic exterior to mimic exact veining of the specific 'real' product being used below; should start going up soon.

3) Glazing underway/imminent.

Now the pics, taken February 6th, 2023:

Since prompting you, the last time you posted an outlier emoji resulted in a thoughtful explanation of the reasons behind that, I think I'll nag you again @DavidCapizzano.

Do explain yourself! LOL

It's too early to tell, but seeing that first row of cladding had me pulling the latest architectural plans from the site plan application and interestingly none of the materials for the tower are actually specified in the plans - they're only specified for the podium. Weird.

That first row doesn't look promising though... The stone(?) spandrel panels and silver painted metal accents and mullions just look really cheap and plasticky. Obviously I know not to trust renders but this one was so clearly rendered with capless curtain wall that I can't help but be a bit disappointed.

Renderings suggest dark mullions with smokey glass...giving it a smooth professional glaze look. In actuality, the said mullions are chunky white with clear glass...giving it that value engineered janky look. I can see why Mr. Capizzano is showing some concern here. >.<

Anyone else remember when Theatrebooks was here, on the east side of Balmuto, before it moved to St. Thomas? This was 30+ years ago.:(
