Yes, it's French.

I usually associate "cru" with a wine vintage or terroir - which is what I am assuming they are going for here; more commonly, I think, it's raw. There are other meanings though.

I know about the Vineyard thing. im from Kelowna, BC and there we have a lot of vineyards, ive heard a lot of people using this word in Kelowna.
