In January, @ShonTron reported in the Downtown Aura thread that Umbria was looking to develop a 13-storey phase 2:

I did a little digging and it appears that Umbria is looking to sever the Downtown Aura property to allow for a Phase II, consisting of a 13-floor residential building at the foot of Haggert Street.

The eventual OBRY trail conversion would improve pedestrian access to what would otherwise be an awkward property.

So it appears all is well. Perhaps with the crane gone and the foundation complete, they’re waiting for the above-ground contractor to begin work.

The SPA has now been submitted under the address 12 Henderson Avenue, despite being much closer to Haggert Avenue than Henderson Avenue. The architect is Kirkor.

Pretty uninspiring design, but it's nice to see some density near downtown, especially not on a major street.
