I wonder where I've seen this design before? oh yea at pat bayly square in ajax and casa in etobicoke. haha they just keep copying their old designs.
 
Nothing gets the UT juices flowing like news from Oshawa. Looks like there's finally some movement at 135 Bruce, previously home to the Oshawa Fittings Factory but since vacant for 37 years.

From the article: "Tito-Dante Marimpietri, who chairs Oshawa’s Economic & Development Services Committee, said the project is “quite advanced” through the planning process."

Also touched on in the article is Oshawa's role in manufacturing in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, becoming known as the Manchester of Canada. It's a shame so much of the city's heritage met the wrecking ball, but alas that's what happens to post-industrial cities.
