Not exactly a surprise. After the previous zoning effort the property was left vacant for decades.

Hopefully this is flipped to someone who will build.

Though if we dream a bit, LOL, might actually improve this some.
Exactly. Here's hoping that a new owner will go after more density than what was recently achieved, and that it will include affordable units. That said… that may be a pipe dream; a purchaser may want to simply go ahead and propose buildings that they only need SPA for.

The big shame here is that while this is currently just across the bridge from a rapid transit station, that by the time any new building could be built here, it will likely no longer be within walking distance of rapid transit.
