Am I the only one who thinks this area would be a great location for a new high school? There's a lot of intensification potential on nearby streets, but the existing schools are filled to the brim...
That is another project by Core, who have been busy snapping up stuff all over the east end, particularly Danforth to the Lake.

I like the podium here, the massing is broken up and isnt just one long sterile glass wall (something other Toronto developers should learn not to do). The upper levels however needs some help, it just looks forgettable, dull and takes away from the rest of the proposal.

New rendering was taken from the architectural plan via Site Plan approval. The total storey count changed from 12 storeys to 11 storeys. Total height change from 39.50m to 39.39m. The total unit count changed from 287 units to 290 units.

It's not bad; the podium looks oddly commercial to me...........
I do wish the podium brick were a uniform height, not a fan of asymmetry
