Most of the concrete has been poured on the ground level from what I can see. The pad from the crane is being prepped. Should see a crane on site shortly.

Wellesley was closed to traffic this morning in front of the site and they were loading what I thought were sections of a crane. I was expecting to see the crane up when I was back a few hours later, but surprisingly there's still no crane (unless the lowest sections are already on the ground)

Update: just checked out the site. The crane pad is there, but not a single section of crane is visible. I have no idea what they were doing this morning. I clearly saw sections of a crane on the flatbed truck that was parked by the site and they were lowering something down to the dug up site

It's crawling. Feel like it has a lot to do with wellesley and Sherbourne streets being 1 lane and there's really no room here. Seems to be an issue for the other wellesley project just a block or two over which is even slower.

The other 2 projects on the north side of Wellesley (50 at Wellesley Station and Vox) were moving along just fine, especially Vox, which has a pretty small footprint. Yes, 81 Wellesley is still a hole in the ground 19 months since shoring began, so its glacial pace is comparable to this.

If you look at those projects, they were pushed pretty far back from the street. There was more room. 159sw is built right up to the street.
