So they are hauling away all the old yellow brick but they are being super careful that there is no other material in it. they have the guys hand picking the smallest odd material out. They are also backfilling the basement area with rock and gravel. Some pictures from this morning.

wait I just realized that this building does not have a podium with tower setback to mitigate the wind coming straight down from the tower... no... not another four-season...
 
The facade of the building will kind of resemble a crinkle cut chip. That should mitigate the speed that wind travels over it.
Then again, I dont know squat about that kind of thing so . .
 
You're right @heatscore, the in-out crimped design of the windows on every floor is expected to prevent downward wind bursts from building on the walls of the building.
