Hard to tell from this rendering but it will be too bad if they build this all the way out to the property line. Would be much better if the building was set back to maintain the street wall with the neighbouring building to the north. A little bit more breathing room for pedestrians would go a long way at this intersection with all the streetcar and car traffic. The current proposal would be better than the empty lot that's there now, but I feel like the best outcome would be combining this lot with the one next door as mentioned above.

The architectural plans here really demonstrate how absurd it is to require two staircases in a building of such a small footprint.
