Tuned in. Normal Jaye Robinson Narrative. A couple more nuanced voices…but the rest of the meeting could be summarized as “we like the architecture, but we think it is too tall, and “our” streets are already too busy and we don’t want more traffic in our neighbourhood. We also don’t want one bedroom units which will be used as rentals…“ God forbid!

This one is the subject of a confidential, Request for Direction Report to the next meeting of City Council:

Looks like a settlement offer given a March hearing date at OLT.

This was was indeed a settlement offer, and the contents thereof are now public............ I could mention that the building has had a haircut from 34s down to 31s (everyone wait for the C of A application to reverse this, LOL) ....

But I feel that that buoying the mood of UT family man @ProjectEnd is a priority, and so I quote:

I really hope that once this clears zoning, they add the necessary 4th elevator in.

PE, your dreams have come true...........there is now a 4th elevator here!

Settlment Offer and plans, here:

Thank you @Northern Light and @ProjectEnd for sharing + commentary.
I see that the settlement is providing a 12.5m tower setback to the homes to the west. The planning rationale notes some of those homes are designated as mixed-use. Do we know which ones? I assume 22 + 24 glazebrook? My understanding was that the homes in that block outside of the proposals are all designated neighbourhoods, based on the latest OP maps (as of Jan 2024) and OPA 405 - but it looks like I may be mistaken!
