It was a great place to work.
The bricks are great for sharpening

Or be used in some of the new building structures on this site!OMG so many beautiful yellow bricks... I wish they would let people take them for re-use if they wanted..
I'd love to save them to build a house with.
I love the yellow bricks..
HBS??......I'd love to see a couple office towers in the mix, after all it's still designated as employment landsThey should use this site to anchor HBS, with a school(s), other institutional uses, commercial uses ala "The Well", and finally, perhaps a few office towers.

Ah, i agreeHumber Bay Shores.
It can't be considered a complete community without some employment use, IMO.
Even without the 501 construction work, the traffic in this area is absolutely brutal. It's not uncommon to spend 15-20mins just to get out of the area. The construction just amplifies how bad things really are in area.Toaster did not mention the main cause of traffic problems in the area at present, the massive disruption caused by the work on the 501 line.

I'm sorry this isnt true. Before all those condos popped up in HBS Park Lawn was smooth like butter, Lake Shore was perfectly fine, and the Queensway rarely had backups all the way through to Park Lawn from the Humber River. However, the Gardiner was still pretty congested just not as bad as it is today. The traffic was a problem even before HBS existed, to be honest.
