You're right, it would certainly blend in with the rest of the monstrosities that have been going up on Toronto's waterfront.
But thankfully this will be going up in Vaughan and not in Toronto.

It's too busy. Pick one (1) style and go for it, don't mash fifty together...
But credit where it's due, the balcony motif is interesting and the facade with the emphasis on the vertical striping is nice and elegant.

I thought Quadrangle would do way better than these twin tower concept all over Vaughan. I hope the final design changes in the future.

It's not anything special but I'd take this over 90% of the towers built in downtown Toronto the last 15 years.
