A new rendering is posted on the database. There are many project information changes. The total building count dropped from 2 buildings to 1 building. Total storey count changed from 36 and 34 storeys to only 34 storeys. Height changed from 130.20m & 123.70m to 125.90m. The total unit count changed from 336 & 312 units to 352 units. Finally, parking was reduced from 375 parking spaces to 60 parking spaces.

The rendering was taken from the architectural plan via the Rezoning application:

The 'box' in the middle just looks utterly peculiar, not so much for its 'design' as for the fact that that form/design doesn't occupy the entirety of those levels. It feels as though it's a growth on the rest of the project.

I also really don't get the 2 different looks on the lower podium either.

Otherwise it's just bland and forgettable.

The way they have clipped that sliver of old on at the north end of podium is essentially Buffalo Billing it onto the new body, à la Silence of the Lambs.
...goodness, I think that's one of most morbid descriptions to be had by Mr. 42 for any proposal. To be fair though, he does have a point. >.<

Yeah, I'm not happy with this one!

Proposal upsized from 34 & 36 storeys to 47 & 49 storeys, as per the July 2023 resubmission:

What's the deal with parking?

Seems for the current Edison Centre there is an arrangement where they enter through the condo on Broadway?

1112 units with 8 elevators. Great work.
Out of curiosity, what should the ideal ratio of elevators to units here? And in that, should there be less units or more elevators or both?
