But what about Curves and California Sandwiches?
Curves could buy out any other retail space nearby, there's a good selection of retail in the area, all of which is fairly inexpensive and not exactly new. (not old at all at the same time, newish in some respects)

For California Sandwiches, they may not be so lucky, though I don't think it's going to be a huge loss for local residents to see this land redeveloped.

I mean, I'm glad this is happening partly because some areas of Mississauga, like this area, could use some intensification, and not just in the form of generic townhousing condominiums/rentals that can be found strewn through this area and north. (Erin Mills)
Intensifying dated, suburban major intersections and areas like this can contribute well to the area. Now if only they could do this kind of development in some place like Dundas and Dixie..

Searched the forum to see if there was anything on this site to no avail so I'm making this.

Nothing really happening here, however. There was a plan for the site as seen here. Was supposed to be a 4 floor mixed use building with medical, retail, and office space they were dubbing the Mpower building

And there was advertising on the fencing beforehand as seen on this google maps screenshot below

But this is what it looks like as of yesterday

And below is a screenshot of the property from above via Google maps

Based on the evidence it would appear this is just shut down and not going to happen, but the website is still up.

The land is empty, would be nice to see this site developed into something.
