Must have just missed each other. I got as far as the other side of the street

I wouldn’t mind if most downtown Chinatown (at least along Dundas & Spadina) is replaced with this type of building, provided they have retail at the base that accommodates current businesses.
I agree! honestly I wouldn’t mind seeing this type of building everywhere in Toronto😂 beats the grey and black all over the city. This photo shows what I’m talking about.

Thanks for the update @Rasacielo! Overall the progress of the building looks good, but I noticed that they decided not to include the reveals that I had included at the SW corner. Initially the 4 bays of windows was to be subtly broken into 3 bays, plus a smaller 1 bay corner - by a darker metal reveal section - similar to the metal cladding that will be used within the larger window gaps. However, it seems they opted to delete them. Not overly terrible, but the reveal functioned a subtle visual break that created a bit of a dynamic corner. On another note, I am thankful however, that they kept the herringbone brick pattern on the northern facade of the building - it at least provides some visual relief until something else is built in front of it.

What I am curious to see is whether or not they went with the colour selections I made for the metal cladding, as well as the material for the retail base. This for me will make/break the project for me.
As I mentioned in a previous post, the retail base I had initially designed was much more interesting and visually compelling - and allowed for a more idioscyncratic facade design and overall language (a la Chinatown). We will have to wait and see.
