This is like 300 Front all over again. Compromises or not, it's becoming a pattern.

AoD
Speaking of 300 Front, it's conspicuously absent from Wallman's website...

I wonder if they advertise Minto30Roe at all.

For a long time I would have considered that one one of our worst towers under construction. (Although I kind of like it from certain angles now that it is complete)

In all three of the above mentioned failures I blame materials and colour choices. Not the actual design. 30roe actually has some pretty cool angles it's the grey grey grey no contrast grey that killed it. Same with 300 front, the mullion and colour choices. Yuck. I'm not saying this one is a great design but if the materials and colour choices were better I'd imagine this would be decent enough.

I blame menkes for being cheap and having bad taste in colour, and buyers for not caring what the outside of the building looks like.

Agreed. It's on the builder. Value engineered to the max. This kind of crap is unacceptable.

And don't forget Pears on the Avenue condo by Menkes as well - it's a grey-ish box on Avenue Road...and looks unsightly!

I have quite the opposite opinion of 30Roe's design. The angles just make it look fatter than it is. They aren't complimentary or cool at all.

I'm excited to see this area of Church finally feel complete like it does north of Wood. There's a tonne of potential here.
