Not 100% certain about this but I read somewhere that the neighbouring (luxury rental?) building is to have a condo addition tacked on to the rear of it.

I did not realize there was such fancy brick work around the windows. (EDIT: I see that it's prominent in one of UD's shots above, but it's the crispness of sMT's shot above that has made me notice I suppose.) Anyway, that's pretty cool. As façadism goes, I suspect this will be one of the better applications of it in town when all is said and done.
