What, no private wading pool on each balcony? Bjarke would disapprove.

After reading this, it has become clear to me that if the city really does want to protect school playgrounds from shadowing, they need an official plan amendment that does this and does it across every school in the city and identifies the space that is being protected very clearly. Not sure this is possible, but I assume it could be. It appears the OMB is just not going to accept thing else.

This parking lot is closed now, but there's nothing yet to indicate if it's for pending excavation or as a staging area for Stanley. There are concrete barriers in place in sections though, so I don't think it's meant to be a temporary closure

Edit: Looks like it's moving ahead. There's a permit issued for excavation and soil remediation (http://app.toronto.ca/ApplicationStatus/details.do?folderRsn=4102840), and they've applied for (but not yet received) a partial permit to construct a foundation (http://app.toronto.ca/ApplicationStatus/details.do?folderRsn=4102840)

Today.
