Lots of work going on in various areas of the building - the basement has been dug out and repairs to the basement walls taking place, new windows are going in, new structures behind the original building continue to be developed.

Some photos from today. First, a view from the front, with the basement window showing clear through to the area behind the building. Second photo below is a detail of the open window with the view right through the basement.

After all these years, I'm so pleased to see this beautiful home didn't burn down "accidentally" and it is being restored / rebuilt as a restaurant. It will be fantastic to visit when it is done.

New windows are all in place. The back portion of the driveway was fenced off today while work was underway, so only a partial view of the back of the building, where two skyjack cranes were active.

Still aways from being completed, but Allied has announced (Second Quarter Press Release):
