York appears to be planning some very stylish twin 30s towers on the SE corner of Oxford and Wonderland at their 530 Oxford Street West plaza, which can be considered a drastic level of intensification for the area. The plaza itself has been seeing some intensification over the past couple of years, with a lot of brand new commercial units opening up, in addition to a major conversion of a former international grocer (Food Island) in the plaza into a T&T Supermarket, which is suspected to be complete this year. These towers will flank both sides of the Nash Jewelers building, located right at the corner. No formal development application appears to have been made at this time. "Stylish"?? 🤣
Call it what you want, but it might truly be the nicest looking set of towers currently being proposed in the city of London.
