Very weird. There are no permits except demo here...

I think I distinctly remember someone from the city saying that sometimes these "break ground" things are, initially, symbolic and real work can be months, if not a year or more away. So, if there are no other permits, I think this is largely symbolic, atm.

That was the parking lot. Other than ripping up the pavement, they have not done much else. The building in the back is the former Beer Store. Other than being boarded up, nothing has happened with it (teardown, etc)

EOY Update: Still nothing month after "groundbreaking", @Northern Light, any idea when we might see construction start based on permits or a staging report?

They have the demolition permit in hand and have for awhile now, and have not made use of it.

No 'New Build' permits have been applied for.

No Staging Report on file.

NOAC has not been issued here (they don't have Site Plan Approval)

Last new Docs were u/l 'd in August.
