North York Chrysler Jeep Dodge moved out of this location in 2010 and relocated north of Steeles Avenue to the auto dealer locations on the west side of Yonge.

No redevelopment sign on the 5959 Yonge Street location as yet, but I seem to remember some sort of advertising for lease or sale of the vacant premises.
 
Yes Ed007 that should indeed mean more business for that outlet in the future.

Also, an update to yesterday; I noted today that there is in fact a redevelopment sign on the 5959 property and it has already been tagged by someone although I could not make out what the tag might be.

The other sign is a large for lease notice, presumably for the planned new development.
 
I remember the tagline for the dealership - "Just a pinch above Finch." It could be part of a marketing campaign for this new development.
 
Since I seen the application since last year on the site -- I find this quite odd that Kardel (they build custom homes in North York and Richmond Hill) owns the back parking lot and bungalow and is not part of the application and really limits their type of development

They're 43 and 31 storeys, so I'd guess around 130 and 100 metres. The thread title needs to be updated.
