Why the thin stripes on the glass on the bottom floors? I'm reminded of bars over windows in high-crime areas.
It's to ensure the building meets the City's Bird Friendly guidelines. The first 12m of transparent portions of the building must be treated to mitigate collisions.

I like the "pinstripe" It's refreshing and different from the 'chicken pox' dots.

If the glass is anything like 7 St. Thomas this is going to look great. Love the curved glass corners and bridge.

I'd love to see more of these small office buildings in this part of town. There are already three under construction. I hope it's a trend that will continue.
