An application has been filed to replace an existing low rise apartment building with a 27 storey building containing 285 units.

This is in the Bayview/Sheppard area, adjacent to the 401.

The site as it appears today:

If this project is 27 storeys with a 5 storeys podium. It's going to be somewhat as tall as its neighbouring NY Place towers. And it will be next to single family homes. You think the neighbours are going to complain?

A simple but nice effective looking tower rendering from this developer that deserves to be on the harbourfront !! These unique vertical column idea first seen on One Yorkville condo . Are now being used more often on other proposed facades as seen in the photos up above.

The fact these twisty columns are popping up on many proposals takes away their uniqueness. Anyways, a TF-designed building? It's more appropriately located where this is, by NY Towers and Park Place. It'll fit right in.

I love the twisty columns and the inset balconies on this one! The fourth and fifth levels of the parking garage, not so much.

I think this neighbourhood is probably fatigued with fighting development. What's left to be said?

It’s definitely out of place, I’ve lived on this street for almost 25 years, ww just got over the construction at the other end of the street. What can you do? They’ll keep going until every sq ft is a condo.
