A wild Saturday night on the Esplanade at 7:10 pm no leafs, no raptors, no shows, no people.

Maybe the same raccoon that climbed the Ltower crane a few years ago. He’s lost some weight.

I dont know what the net effect was. But they had another crane on site, took the boom and the cab down, and then a cab and boom went up again.

They must have moved the crane from the podium to inside the tower footprint.

Hard to tell the exact location of the crane from the City of Toronto site plan approval drawings but this is a ballpark of the crane locations from my perspective. Red original - blue new. I can only guess the electrical vault on P1 didn’t allow for the single crane location.

Assuming they measured correctly back in March 2019.?

I really wonder how much sun that area will actually get to make it useful during the summer months.
I do not understand why the podium wasn't made taller, and the pool brought higher into the sky where it would be less shadowed. I don't know what the point is way down there.

The pool is right above the garage entrance.

If they brought it up even one floor up, that means they'd have to fill that floor with something. Would it be residential units?

You can design a building so that bicycle parking can be on a podium level, amenities like a screening room that don't need a view can go on those levels, etc.

There could be a setback requirement between the residential tower and the Novotel property line above 2 storeys. Also, it would seem this possible setback isn't required on the north west portion of the site where there are no windows on either the Novotel building or 75 Esplande.
